HPJ Jewellers bought by Gordon Brothers Europe
This jewellery business consists of 78 stores across the UK, trading as HPJ Jewellers and Jewel Nation, and has been significantly loss making in recent years.
The management and shareholders took the decision to sell to Gordon Brothers in the hope that the business can be turned around and a significant number of jobs saved. Gordon Brothers are now embarking on a total restucturing of the company, including both the overheads and the consumer proposition.
